I have just discovered the Old Cambrians and the new website (15 Nov 2002)
Although much of my working life has been been spent overseas - Africa and
the Far East - I have spent considerable periods in the UK, and it is sad that
I was not aware of all these all school activities, reunions, etc. I would
certainly like to make up for it.
I was particularly fascinated to hear that Peter Simpson has been secretary for
all these years since Peter and I were good pals and met up again in the UK
before losing touch in the late 1950s. Peter apparently became secretary in 1966 -
the year I left UK for a job as a sub-editor in Tanzania. I was in Africa for most of
the 1970s and in Hong Kong in the 1980s.
